The mats are laid as is in front of the door; the 60 ft rolls are cut to the desired length to cover a long entrance corridor, a store aisle or a walkway. Ribbed surface and vinyl backing

The polypropylene ribs work as both wiper and scraper: they knock dirt off soles and hold moisture between the grooves, keeping floors cleaner and less slippery. With a surface weight of 12 oz per square yard, the mat stays light to lift for cleaning. The vinyl backing forms a continuous base under the surface.

Installing, cleaning and mat service life

Unroll the mat flat a few hours before use; a little lint may appear on a new mat and disappears after a few passes of the vacuum. Vacuum daily. In winter, apply a water-based carpet cleaner weekly, let it work for 20 minutes, then extract the liquid with a carpet extractor or a wet/dry vacuum; remove salt or ice melter stains as needed with a salt neutralizer. In summer, do the same cleaning once a month, with a 10-minute dwell time. To store it, clean it thoroughly, roll it on its cardboard tube and store it flat in a heated area, never on end. Replace it when the ribs are crushed or the edges curl up, to avoid tripping.

Mat use restrictions

This mat is designed for light traffic and is not an anti-fatigue mat. Never use a brush or rotary machine, or a solvent-based product or alkaline detergent directly on the mat.
