Impacto® AirGloves™ silicone dotted synthetic suede antivibration mechanic’s gloves with urethane air bladders

The Impacto AirGloves antivibration glove blends comfort, dexterity and vibration absorption in a mechanic’s style design. Its black synthetic suede palm is covered in silicone dots for a firm, precise grip, while an internal chamber holds urethane air bladders strategically placed over the palm and fingers to dampen the vibration of hand and power tools. The mesh back provides excellent ventilation and an adjustable Velcro® wrist tab keeps the glove firmly in place. Sold in pairs, it is ideal for workers exposed to jackhammers, grinders and other vibrating tools.

Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the reception of this item since it is not kept in stock.

Impacto manufacturer’s code: BG408. These gloves are available in sizes ranging from small (7) to double extra-large (11). Please select the size needed in the field located above.

AirGloves compliance with ISO 10819 and ANSI S2.73 anti-vibration standards (EN388 1221 rating)

These gloves meet the European anti-vibration glove standard EN ISO 10819 and the American standard ANSI S2.73-2002 (R2007). The level of protection from mechanical hazards is 1221, where abrasion resistance is 1/4, cut resistance is 2/5, tear resistance is 2/4 and puncture resistance is 1/4.

AirGloves features with urethane air bladders and ventilated mesh back

This antivibration mechanic’s style glove is made of a silicone dotted black synthetic suede palm to provide the best grip there is. Under the faux-suede layer lies an individual chamber holding the antivibration film—a sheet of urethane bladders strategically located on the palm and fingers to provide maximum hand protection. The mesh back allows hand ventilation, and an adjustable Velcro® closure at the wrist keeps the glove in place.

Synthetic suede properties for dexterity and easy maintenance

The faux-suede used for this glove is a man-made synthetic fabric whose fibres may sometimes be a hundred times finer than human hair. These fibres are tightly woven together to create a dense fabric that has many of the same qualities as real suede without being as hard to maintain. Faux-suede is soft, flexible and just a little less resistant than leather.

Urethane properties for vibration absorption

Urethane provides good chemical and mechanical properties. This material has great resilience, does not distort itself, and is abrasion-, cut- and tear-resistant. It also resists a wide range of chemicals, UV rays and liquids thanks to its low absorption capacity.

Applications for jackhammers, grinders and vibrating tools

This type of glove is recommended for workers using tools such as hammers, chisels, needle guns, sanders, jackhammers, riveting tools, chainsaws and grinders. It protects from abrasion, impact and vibration, making it an ideal choice when handling hand or power tools.

Restrictions of the synthetic suede antivibration glove

This glove offers only limited protection against cuts, tears and puncture; it cannot eliminate the risk of injuries and lacerations. It also helps absorb and dissipate vibration but cannot eliminate the risk of developing Raynaud’s syndrome (white finger disease), a blood circulation disorder.

Maintenance and service life of the AirGloves glove

Basic maintenance is recommended to extend the service life of your gloves: simply wash them in cold water, at 85°F/30°C, with a mild detergent, then let them air dry.

FAQ about the Impacto AirGloves synthetic suede antivibration glove

Which anti-vibration standards does this glove meet?

It is certified to the European standard EN ISO 10819 and the American standard ANSI S2.73-2002 (R2007), with an EN388 rating of 1221.

What are the urethane air bladders for?

They are air-filled cells located under the palm and on the fingers that absorb and dissipate the vibration of hand and power tools.

Which sizes are available?

The glove is offered from small (7) to double extra-large (11); select your size in the field at the top of the page.

Does this glove eliminate the risk of Raynaud’s syndrome?

No. It helps reduce transmitted vibration, but no glove can fully eliminate the risk of developing white finger disease.

How should this glove be maintained?

Wash it in cold water (85°F/30°C) with a mild detergent and let it air dry.
