· Size 4 (PS330): Designed for larger limbs or for securing bulky dressings on arms and legs.

On areas such as the head or shoulder, adhesive tape is often ineffective or painful due to hair and constant movement. Surgilast Size 6 solves this problem by using light compression to keep gauze pads firmly in place.
It is highly recommended for scalp care or surgeries involving the hip and thigh. Its open-mesh structure promotes constant aeration, which accelerates healing by preventing moisture buildup. Furthermore, it allows for quick visual inspection of the wound through the mesh without having to remove the entire support device.
Latex-Free: Hypoallergenic material minimizing the risk of skin reactions.
Large Format: Designed to comfortably fit large adult heads, broad shoulders, and thick thighs.
Multidirectional Elasticity: Provides total freedom of movement without slipping or rolling.
Customized Cutting: Can be cut to create openings (for arms, ears, or face) without unraveling.
Pain-Free Support: Eliminates the need for adhesives that pull on skin and hair during removal.
Preparation: Apply your sterile gauze or primary dressing to the wound.
Cutting: Cut a section of Surgilast Size 6 proportional to the area to be covered.
Stretching: Insert your hands inside the tube and stretch the net to its maximum width.
Installation: Gently slide it over the head, shoulder, or thigh.
Adjustment: Position the net so it lies flat and perfectly immobilizes the dressing.
Although this product is designed to be disposable, its high-quality construction allows it to be removed and repositioned during dressing changes. If it remains clean, it can be hand-washed in lukewarm water with mild soap and air-dried. This allows for extended use for the same patient, making the treatment more economical.
Size 6 is indispensable for emergency interventions involving head trauma or significant injuries to the lower limbs. For shoulder fixation, you can slide the net over the torso and cut a slit for the arm to pass through, creating a "vest-style" support that keeps the dressing perfectly immobile.
Size 5 is suitable for small to medium heads and thighs. Size 6 is significantly wider and is recommended for larger adults or for covering very thick dressings.
Yes, for a child or a small adult, Size 6 can sometimes be used to hold dressings on the upper thorax, although larger sizes exist specifically for the trunk.
Surgilast is designed to maintain constant tension. However, after several days of continuous use or multiple washes, it may stretch slightly. In such cases, simply cut a new section from the roll.
