Applications:
These traction aids are recommended for occasional work to workers exposed to winter conditions. They may help, among other things, to avoid injuries inflicted upon slipping and falling on ice. Of course, wearing these won’t eliminate all risks, one shall always remain on the lookout even if wearing spikes.
Features:
These versatile traction aids offer an excellent protection: the rubber compound, a stable material which holds up to temperature variations going as low as -40 °C, ensures the user’s relative safety. Its one single piece design stretches to adjust to most types of footwear: it’s an easy donning in one movement. The improved webbed sole design enhances fit and function with a 360-degree spike pattern that provides more push and lateral grip. The tungsten carbide Ice Diamond™ spikes strategically located ensure a better grip on icy surfaces. The proprietary design features indeed two (2) spikes at the heel of the foot and four (4) spikes on the forefoot.
Fitting:
It is always best to sit to try on these traction aids. Simply insert the front of the boot in the toecage and pull on the webbing at the back until it reaches the tip of the heel. When well done, the rubber sole shall oppose a resistance on your boot thus keeping it in place. Make sure all spikes are well centered on your foot.
These spikes are available in two (2) different sizes. As a guideline, choose one size up your regular size if the traction aids are to be used on regular boots, but add two (2) foot sizes for bulky boots.
