Installation and Maintenance Tips

  • Location: Install the shower within 10 seconds (approx. 50 feet/15 meters) of the hazard, on the same level.

  • Water Temperature: ANSI recommends using a Thermostatic Mixing Valve (sold separately) to deliver tepid water (between 60°F and 100°F / 16°C and 38°C) to prevent thermal shock.

  • Weekly Testing: It is crucial to activate the shower once a week to flush the lines and verify proper valve operation.

Warning: The drench shower should never be used to rinse the eyes, as the high pressure could aggravate injuries.
