These 65% cotton / 35% polyester, 7-gauge string knit gloves, commonly known as "fisherman's gloves," provide good dexterity for general work. Sold by the pack: 12 pairs/pack. Superior manufacturer's code: SQ.
Available in sizes XS to XL, to select in the drop-down menu.
Knit seamlessly, these gloves allow the skin to breathe, stretch well and conform to the hand. They are reversible (no inside or outside) and ambidextrous, making them a particularly cost-effective choice: if one glove is damaged, replace only that glove rather than the whole pair, and use every side before discarding. Machine washable and bleachable when needed, they are easy to maintain.
The G211 is suited for general work, construction and the food industry. Approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), it is also worn by butchers as a cold-resistant liner under chain-mail gloves. In construction, it protects against sudden temperature changes and light abrasion while maintaining good tactile sensitivity.
Cotton absorbs liquids (water, sebum) effectively without becoming damp, allows the skin to breathe, is hypoallergenic and comfortable. Its low thermal conductivity makes it ideal in both hot and cold environments. Polyester is a synthetic fibre highly resistant to sunlight and temperature swings, with excellent abrasion resistance. It holds its shape even when wet, wicks moisture, dries quickly and is easy to care for. The blend of both fibres combines natural comfort with synthetic durability.
These gloves can be machine washed in warm water (40 °C / 105 °F) with regular detergent and tumble dried at medium heat. Bleach may be used for tough stains but is not required after every wash. Their reversible, ambidextrous design maximises service life — simply replace the damaged glove rather than the entire pair.
Yes. The G211 is approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for food handling. It is commonly used as a thermal liner under chain-mail gloves in butcher shops.
Its ambidextrous, reversible design lets each glove be worn on both sides, and left and right gloves are interchangeable. If one glove is punctured, only the damaged glove is replaced — not the entire pair — significantly lowering costs.
Each glove features a colour-coded knitted cuff: orange for S (gauge 7), yellow for M (gauge 8), white for L (gauge 9) and green for XL. This lets you quickly identify the size without reading a label.
In the same cotton/polyester string knit family, see the one-side PVC-dotted points glove (G222) and the two-side PVC-dotted PVC glove (G223). Also see the inspector gloves for women (G215) and for men (G216).
Complete your equipment with the salt-and-pepper jersey glove (G200), the bleached inspector glove for men (G217), the S18ND economy work gloves with PVC dots (GS18ND) and the low-lint antistat gloves (GS13PUC).
