Cotton glove with flannel lining fully coated with nitrile and safety cuff

This cotton glove with flannel lining is fully coated with nitrile and fitted with a safety cuff (manufacturer's code BBH 05H657C), available in large (9) one-size-fits-all only. Its full nitrile coating provides excellent protection against chemical risks, along with useful protection against certain mechanical risks (although it is not designed for cut resistance). Its flannel lining adds comfort without making it a winter glove: it is common to wear a cotton glove underneath for thermal protection.

BBH manufacturer's code: 05H657C

Features of the chemical cotton glove fully coated with nitrile

This glove is entirely coated with nitrile, which makes it an excellent barrier against chemical risks. Even though it is not the preferred glove for cut protection, it can help avoid injuries with regard to mechanical risks. It is also insulated with a thin layer of flannel lining, but it is in no way a winter glove; it is common to wear a regular cotton glove underneath for thermal protection.

Absorbent, hypoallergenic cotton properties

Cotton has a high water-absorbing capacity and handles sebum well without getting damp. It is breathable, hypoallergenic and offers a nice touch and good comfort, which suits perfectly those with sensitive skin. Cotton has low thermal conductivity, so in summer it prevents your skin from overheating and in winter it preserves your body's warmth.

Nitrile properties for resistance to chemical products

Nitrile is the best alternative to latex, offering excellent flexibility, a secure fit and unequalled toughness and comfort. It is an elastomer synthesized by copolymerizing butadiene with acrylonitrile. This material is resistant to domestic products such as ammonia, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, paints, solvents, oils, greasy substances and hydrocarbons. It also offers an excellent grip on dry surfaces and an average grip on wet surfaces.

Applications of the nitrile glove for construction, forestry and sheet metal

This glove is recommended for workers in construction, forestry and maintenance, as well as for those who must deal with metal sheets, metal stamping, lumber yards, parts handling, etc.

Usage restrictions of the nitrile coated glove

Nitrile is not resistant to flames and, when wet, its grip is reduced. This glove offers only limited protection against cuts, wear, tear and puncture, so mechanical risks should not be overlooked.

Maintenance and service life of the cotton nitrile coated glove

Washing this glove is not recommended, since it is afterward quite difficult to dry it completely.

FAQ about the cotton glove with flannel lining fully coated with nitrile

What risks does this glove protect against?

Its full nitrile coating offers excellent chemical protection (ammonia, solvents, oils, hydrocarbons, pesticides) and useful protection against certain mechanical risks.

Is it cut-resistant?

Only to a limited extent. It is not a cut-resistant glove; it does not eliminate the risk of cuts, tears and punctures.

Is it a winter glove?

No. The flannel lining adds comfort but does not make it a winter glove. It is common to wear a cotton glove underneath for thermal protection.

What size is available?

It is available in large (9) one-size-fits-all only.

Can it be washed or used near an open flame?

Washing is not recommended (difficult to dry completely) and nitrile is not flame-resistant; do not use it near a heat source.
