Polycotton gloves are an excellent choice for inspectors, for example, who do not wish to leave behind fingerprints or make nail scratches on the goods on a production line. It is as well ideal for the inspection products on an assembly line, since cotton produce little to no plush, which consist in the detachment of fibers from the main piece of fabric. This type of glove is also useful as a liner, since they can absorb very well the perspiration generated when one wears a rubber glove.
These gloves are hand-to-hand reversible; they have no proper inner or outer side which makes them cost-efficient since they don’t require to be changed at the same time. The fact that these gloves are reversible and ambidextrous allows you to use all sides before disposing of them. These polycotton gloves can be fully machine washed and bleached if needed.
Cotton has a high water-absorbing capacity and can deal as well with sebum without getting damp. This fabric also has good breathable characteristics, it is hypoallergenic and it offers a nice touch and good comfort which suits perfectly to those who have sensitive skin. Cotton has low thermal-conductivity, therefore in summer it prevents your skin from heating, and in winter it preserves the warmth of your body.
Polyester is a polymer from which is made a man-made fibre. This fiber is then weaved to form a fabric resistant to sunlight and substantial temperature variances. By itself or blended with cotton, polyester is abrasion resistant and retains its shape when wet. Moreover, this material absorbs well moist and dries quickly. It is lastly easy to clean.
These gloves are approved for safe food handling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
This model of inspector glove is also available in a one size fits all for women (see item G218).
Maintenance and life service:
It is recommended to carry out a basic maintenance to extend the service life of your gloves. Simply wash them with hot water, that is, 105°F/40°C and a regular detergent. You can then dry them at medium temperature in a dryer. If needed, you may use bleach to remove the stains, but it is not required nor recommended to bleach your gloves every time you wash them.
