ASTM/ANSI A2 compliance and EN388 4241 rating of the TenActiv™ glove

According to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards, this glove has a cut resistance of level A2 and a puncture resistance of level 3. Its EN388 4241 mechanical rating breaks down as follows: abrasion resistance 4/4, cut resistance 2/5, tear resistance 4/4 and puncture resistance 1/4.

TenActiv™ series gloves do not lint and the polyurethane does not flake, so they will not contaminate the products being handled — a major asset in clean environments. Polyurethane properties for dexterity and grip

Polyurethane is a urethane polymer with excellent chemical and mechanical properties. It is highly elastic, does not deform and resists abrasion, cuts and tears. It resists a wide range of chemicals, UV rays and liquids thanks to its non-absorbent nature, while offering excellent grip, good tactile sensitivity and good dexterity.

Restrictions of the partially PU-coated glove

Polyurethane has a low heat resistance. This glove only offers limited protection against cuts, tears and punctures: it cannot eliminate the risk of injuries and lacerations. Because it is only partially coated, it does not protect against liquids reaching the back of the hand.
