The GS13TAGPU glove combines ASTM/ANSI A2 cut protection with outstanding dexterity and tactile sensitivity, thanks to its TenActiv™ composite knit coated with polyurethane on the palm and fingers. Designed for glass plants, construction, automotive, aeronautics and metal fabrication, it delivers good grip on dry surfaces and moderate grip on wet ones. A key advantage for cleanrooms and delicate handling: the TenActiv™ fiber does not lint and the polyurethane does not flake, so these gloves will not contaminate the products being handled. According to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards, this glove has a cut resistance of level A2 and a puncture resistance of level 3. Its EN388 4241 mechanical rating breaks down as follows: abrasion resistance 4/4, cut resistance 2/5, tear resistance 4/4 and puncture resistance 1/4.
This glove offers remarkable cut protection while preserving excellent dexterity and good tactile sensitivity. TenActiv™ series gloves do not lint and the polyurethane does not flake, so they will not contaminate the products being handled — a major asset in clean environments. In addition, this glove provides good grip on dry surfaces and moderate grip on wet surfaces.
Polyurethane is a urethane polymer with excellent chemical and mechanical properties. It is highly elastic, does not deform and resists abrasion, cuts and tears. It resists a wide range of chemicals, UV rays and liquids thanks to its non-absorbent nature, while offering excellent grip, good tactile sensitivity and good dexterity.
This glove is recommended for workers who handle sharp objects or who work in glass plants, construction, the automotive industry, the aeronautics industry, metal fabrication and metal stamping.
Polyurethane has a low heat resistance. This glove only offers limited protection against cuts, tears and punctures: it cannot eliminate the risk of injuries and lacerations. Because it is only partially coated, it does not protect against liquids reaching the back of the hand.
