The 3M VFlex N95 9105 Particulate Respirator is a single-use respiratory protection mask NIOSH N95 approved for at least 95% filtration efficiency against certain non-oil-based particles. Its VFlex V-fold design easily expands to create a spacious interior facial space with minimal impact on the field of vision. The V-folds naturally widen to facilitate breathing and flex with mouth movement when speaking, providing superior comfort during prolonged wear. Available in standard size (model 9105) and small size (9105S). Sold in boxes of 50 units.
3M Manufacturer Code: 7000002390, model: 9105
The 3M VFlex 9105 respirator is made with 3M's proprietary advanced electrostatic filter material to filter dust and particles while enabling easy breathing. The uniquely designed tabs allow better face positioning. The fold-flat edges allow for convenient storage before use. The adjustable nose clip provides a comfortable, secure seal. Compatible with a wide variety of safety glasses and hearing protectors. Latex-free. Strap material: polyisoprene. Useful service life: 1,825 days (5 years). Origin: United States.
Don the 9105 respirator immediately before adjusting or removing. Do not modify the respirator. Inspect the respirator before each use for tears, perforations, or damage. Discard after contamination or visible damage. Replace when breathing resistance increases noticeably. Do not use in oxygen-deficient atmospheres or immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) conditions. This respirator does not eliminate the risk of illness or death.
Both models are functionally identical and share the same NIOSH N95 approval. The only difference is the mask size: the 9105 is standard size, designed for most adults, while the 9105S is small size, ideal for users with a smaller face. Both models offer the same V-fold VFlex design, the same 3M electrostatic filter material, the same positioning tabs, and the same adjustable nose clip. The choice between the two should be based on a proper fit test for each individual user.
The 3M VFlex 9105 respirator is NIOSH N95 approved for at least 95% filtration efficiency against non-oil-based particles, including certain airborne biological particles. It is listed in the recommended uses for emergency and pandemic preparedness. However, for effective protection against biological agents, a tight face seal is essential. A fit test must be performed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements (CSA Z94.4, OSHA) before use in a controlled occupational setting.
The VFlex 9105 respirator is designed for continuous use until breathing resistance increases, the mask is contaminated, damaged, or wet, or a tight seal can no longer be maintained. It is not designed for reuse after being removed in a contaminated environment. The useful service life of materials is 1,825 days (5 years) if the mask is stored under recommended conditions in its original packaging. Once removed from packaging, it should be used as soon as possible.
