This Class A - fall arrest: 1 dorsal D-ring harness is fitted with a zinc-plated steel dorsal D-ring. The torso buckle is pivoting and made of aluminum alloy for lightness and durability. Chest and leg buckles are zinc-plated steel. The harness offers 5 adjustment points: 2 at the legs, 2 at the torso, and 1 at the chest. Webbing straps are color-coded for easy donning; strap ends feature plastic tips to prevent fraying, enabling adjustment even with gloves. A sub-pelvic strap is included for optimal positioning during a fall. Auto-locking keepers keep excess webbing tidy. An integrated SRL adapter is also present. Certification labels are sewn on the back left side for easy tracking and inspection.
This harness supports a maximum worker weight of 310 lb / 140.6 kg, including clothing, tools, and equipment. It is compliant with CSA Z259.10-18, governing fall arrest harnesses in Canada. This standard ensures the harness has been tested to withstand forces generated during a fall and effectively protect the user.
The webbing of this harness is made of polyester, chosen for its superior resistance to acidic chemicals on many job sites, with a breaking strength of 6,000 lb. Padding is a nylon/polyester hybrid with a breathable mesh inner surface for comfort during long workdays. Metal components are made of unpainted zinc-plated steel. The pivoting torso buckle is aluminum alloy to reduce total harness weight.
This harness is ideal for all work at height in general construction, building maintenance, manufacturing, and transportation. Available in five sizes: S, M, L, XL, and 2XL. The comfortable vest style facilitates donning and doffing on active job sites. The integrated 3M CSID system allows digitizing and tracking inspection history via a mobile device.
The worker is responsible for performing a routine inspection before each use. Any signs of degradation, wear, malfunction, or damage must be identified. The harness must be replaced at the first sign of failure. A qualified person must also inspect the harness at regular intervals: every 90 days, 180 days, or annually depending on manufacturer recommendations and applicable regulations.
