Reconditioned and verified, it offers the same performance as the new version at a more attractive price, ideal for offices, schools, businesses and warehouses. It comes with a wall hook.
The agent is demineralized water, very low in conductivity, allowing use on energized electrical equipment (class C). The cylinder is stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. This extinguisher is made by Amerex.
This model is a refurbished extinguisher: it has been reconditioned and verified to deliver reliable performance at an attractive price. It keeps the same technical specifications as the new version (ULC 2AC rating, demineralized-water agent, stainless-steel cylinder), while being an economical and responsible choice.

This demineralized-water extinguisher is recommended for class A fires (wood, paper, fabric) and can be used on energized electrical equipment (class C), thanks to its non-conductive agent tested to UL 711.
Class B: do not use on flammable liquids or gases (class B).
Class D: do not use on combustible metals (class D).
Freezing: as the agent is water-based, protect the extinguisher from freezing (minimum temperature 4.4°C).
An extinguisher only protects you if it is kept in good condition. Regular maintenance ensures it will work the day you need it.
Monthly visual inspection: check the pressure (gauge in the green zone), the pin, the seal and that the stainless-steel cylinder is free of corrosion or damage.
Annual servicing: have the extinguisher inspected yearly by a certified technician, per the applicable standard (NFPA 10 / local regulations).
Recharge: any extinguisher that has been used, even partially, must be recharged immediately by a qualified shop.
Hydrostatic test: the cylinder must undergo periodic pressure testing per the standard.
Freeze protection: store the extinguisher away from freezing to preserve the water-based agent.
The "2A" indicates the extinguishing capacity on solid-material fires (class A) and the "C" confirms it can be used around energized electrical equipment, as the agent is non-conductive (UL 711 tested).
On class A fires (wood, paper, fabric) and energized electrical equipment (class C). Do not use on flammable liquids (class B) or combustible metals (class D).
Demineralized water is very low in conductivity, allowing use on electrical equipment while limiting residue and corrosion. Still, protect the unit from freezing.
