Cooling bandana (head band) with PVA lining, for decreasing heat discomfort. A Chill-Its(R) by Ergodyne product.
When wet, this bandana becomes cooler than the surrounding air. It allows workers to cool down by hot and/or humid weather, outdoors and indoors. It helps reduce discomfort due to heat and prevent heat stroke.
Ideal for construction workers, landscapers, mail delivery, garage workers, etc.
The bandana is made with polyvinyl acetate (PVA), a super-evaporative material. The unique structure of this material allows it to absorb water quickly and lets it evaporate slowly, which offers a cooling sensation for 2-5 hours. As a bonus, this material feels dry and soft even when wet.
To use this bandana, simply dip it in water (preferably cool but not cold) and press or shake to remove excess water. The bandana is hand- and machine-washable. Caution: do not machine-dry, as this will permanently damage the material.
