To get about 4 hours of freshness, soak the pad for 2 to 5 minutes in an ice-water solution. The cold water transfers inside the crystals and evaporates slowly; repeat as needed.
The acrylic polymer crystals are super absorbent: they store cold water, which then evaporates slowly to cool the head under the helmet. This evaporative cooling helps reduce heat discomfort and prevent heat stroke when working in hot environments, while keeping the safety helmet in place.
Soak the pad for 2 to 5 minutes in an ice-water solution before use. When the cooling sensation fades, dip it back into cold water to reactivate it. Let it dry completely between extended uses to preserve the material.
