Economical and waterproof two-piece set (one coat and one pair of pants) made of high visibility yellow PVC.
This coat is available in sizes ranging from small (S) to four extra large (4XL). Please choose your size from the drop down menu above.
BBH Manufacturer Code: 110300YL
Design:
The coat closes with black plastic snaps. It has two front pockets with flap closure. The pants have elastic at the waist. It does not have a fly. Snaps at the wrists and ankles allow for a tighter fit. This waterproof set is not flame resistant.
The coat is easily worn over warm clothes thanks to its loose fit. For added comfort, it has three small ventilation openings protected by flaps.
This rain suit is ideal for occasional or brief use. This set is often chosen for its low price which is an incentive to buy. The disadvantages of this type of raincoat are its weight and its rigidity which makes it difficult to fold especially in cold weather. The raincoat does not allow any breathability and the snaps are not foolproof. The quality-price ratio is easily felt.
Water-resistance:
Cost-effective waterproof rainwear are lined on both sides and a thin fabric serves the purpose of the matrix. The outer PVC layer is 0.35 mm thick; the manufacturer did not disclose information on the inner PVC layer (PVC 0.35 mm/polyester/PVC). All seams have been heat-sealed since the PVC allows it. PVC is a thermoplastic polymer which offers resistance to chemicals, oils, greases, acids, alkalis, solvents, oxidants, and ozone. PVC is also resistant to wear and tear, and stretching.
PVC-lined waterproof safety wear is usually worn by workers who may be exposed to remote or moderate risks of chemical splashes. PVC-coated clothes are recommended for workers that work in environments where the temperature varies between -5 °C and 18 °C accompanied by showers and strong winds.
Maintenance:
This rainwear kit should always be machine-washed in a delicate setting with cold or lukewarm water, and a gentle soap. Never use bleaching agents or fabric softeners on this coat. It should also be air-dried in a sheltered spot out of direct sunlight. Never tumble dry, iron or dry clean this raincoat.
