Available in sizes from extra-small (XS) to 4 extra-large (4XL). Please select your size form the drop-down menu above.
Pioneer manufacturer code: V1190160, model 6007.
This hi-viz yellow coat meets the new Transports Québec regulation (December 2014), as described in Tome V - Signalisation routière, paragraph 4.34.1. When worn alone, the coat meets the CSA Z96-15 class 2 standard. When worn with high-visibility pants with reflective stripes, the outfit meets the CSA Z96-15 class 3 standard.
This coat has retroreflective silver (gray) stripes alternating with fluorescent orange stripes. Each stripe is 2” (50 mm) wide.
The coat has two vertical stripes at the front, two X-shaped stripes at the back, three horizontal stripes around the waist and three stripes around each arm. The collar is fluorescent orange.
Fluorescent yellow (neon yellow) is highly visible during daylight and in conditions of low natural light, for instance at dawn and dusk. In most situations, it offers a high contrast with the background. At night, its lighter hue is more visible than fluorescent orange, but not as visible as reflective stripes.
Fluorescent orange (neon orange) is highly visible during daylight and in conditions with abundant artificial light. In most situations, it offers a high contrast with the background. However, fluorescent orange is less visible at night and during low light conditions, for instance at dawn or dusk.
Gray (silver) retroreflective stripes are highly visible in low natural or artificial light conditions, because they reflect light back towards the source of the beam (flashlight, vehicle headlights, etc.). They are most efficient during dawn, dusk or at night. However, they do not offer increased visibility during daylight.
Closes with a plastic toothed zipper protected by a storm flap that closes with a hook-and-loop closure. Underarm zippered vents provide comfort in hot weather.
The coat has one chest pocket, one pen slot, one clear pocket for ID cards, and two gray clip straps at shoulder level.
Made of polyester tricot, 120 gsm (3.5 oz per square yard). This fabric is breathable but not waterproof.
