The 3M Versaflo S-433 hood is a disposable facepiece with integrated head suspension designed for industrial and pharmaceutical environments where respiratory protection, hygiene and wearing comfort are essential. Compatible with TR-300, TR-600 and TR-800 motorized systems, it provides protection up to 1000 times the permissible exposure limit. Its pre-assembled integrated suspension allows for quick setup without tools.
Available in two sizes: small/medium (S-433S-5) and medium/large (S-433L-5). Sold in case of 5 units.
For complete workstation protection, pair this hood with Endura Pro cut-resistant (G378GKGVBE), nitrile Zenith (GZ13POFN), a white coverall (V51) and the RM307 facepiece (high-flow).
Compatibility and Applications of the S-433 Hood
This hood is compatible with Versaflo TR-300, TR-600 and TR-800 motorized respiratory protection systems, as well as GVP, Breathe Easy, Adflo and 3M V-series supplied air systems. Designed for pharmaceutical, food processing, industrial and construction environments with strict hygiene and safety requirements. The coated polycarbonate visor provides excellent field of vision while protecting eyes and face against splashes and particles.
Compatibility and Specifications of the S-433 Series Hood
Made from polyurethane-coated knitted polyamide fabric, the S-433 offers superior durability compared to the S-403, with an integrated adjustable head suspension. Protects head, face, neck and shoulders against dust, paint spray and low-energy liquid splashes. Maximum service life: 60 months. Not suitable for high-heat environments.
Installation and Maintenance
The hood is pre-assembled and ready to use. Attach it to the compatible S-series hard hat, ensuring proper edge alignment for optimal sealing. This is a single-use disposable: replace it as soon as it becomes soiled or damaged. Store hoods in a dry place, away from dust and UV rays.

What is the difference between the S-433 and S-403?
The S-433 includes an integrated head suspension pre-assembled into the hood, simplifying setup and improving comfort during extended wear. The S-403 is an economy version without integrated head suspension.
