Eagle corner protectors help prevent damage to wall corners in areas used by forklifts, hand trucks and other warehouse vehicles. Made of high-visibility yellow high-density polyethylene, their construction absorbs energy and resists cracking and chipping. Each protector measures 10 x 6 in, 21 or 42 in high, and they can be mounted end to end to cover a greater height. They are sold in pairs (set of 2 protectors); anchors are not included. Manufacturer: Eagle (Justrite Safety Group).
Fastened to wall corners along warehouse, plant or dock aisles, Eagle corner protectors help prevent damage caused by forklifts, hand trucks and other warehouse vehicles. The 21 in model protects the lower part of the corner; the 42 in model covers a greater height.
Clean with soapy water. Periodically check that the anchors are tight. Replace the protector if it is split or deformed.
In pairs: Eagle corner protectors are sold in pairs (set of 2), and the weight shown is for the pair.
No, anchors are not included; plan for anchors that suit your wall.
The 21 in model (10 lb per pair) protects the lower part of the corner; the 42 in model (20 lb per pair) covers a greater height. The protectors can also be mounted end to end.
The manufacturer states that the HDPE resists cracking and chipping, and that the construction absorbs energy.
They are made in the United States by Eagle (Justrite Safety Group).
For the building maintenance worker fastening these Eagle protectors to a wall corner near a dock door, plan for a Pioneer women's orange high-visibility vest (V136F) with nine pockets, TenActiv polyurethane-coated gloves (GS13TAGPU) to set the anchors with dexterity, SecureFit anti-fog safety glasses (YASF203) with amber lens, Classic earplugs (OA101) while drilling and a Moldex valved mask (R2300) against concrete dust.
Along the same wall, add the 42 in Eagle wall protector (PC1726) from the same range. Around columns, see the Eagle column protector in yellow (PC1708) or its orange (PC178OR) version. During installation, set out a 36 in orange cone (EPTCONE36) and mark the floor with a black non-slip adhesive warning tape (ECT748).
