Techstar SOS grey salt and sand bin, 5.5 to 36 ft³, lockable double-walled lid
This item is offered by special order: pickup at Sylprotec or transportation arranged by the customer. 5.5, 11 and 18.5 ft³ formats: allow 5 to 7 days for delivery; 36 ft³ format: allow 18 to 21 days.

Techstar's grey SOS bin offers the same toughness as the version in yellow (BTSOSJA), with a more discreet colour near a building front or an office entrance. Rotomoulded from linear low-density polyethylene, it resists impact and the harshest weather conditions, and its double-walled lid keeps salt, sand or ice melter dry and protected. Thanks to the hasp moulded into the bin, a padlock is all it takes to control access. Waterproof and lockable, it also suits many other outdoor storage uses.

Techstar also recommends it for garbage in rural areas, safety equipment, pool chemicals, docks, farms, factories, cottages, job sites or a truck and trailer, to store tools safely.

For the person filling the bin and spreading salt, plan for the flannel-lined high-visibility orange PVC-coated gloves (G502), the fluorescent orange long-sleeve safety sweater (VV44) with reflective stripes, the NEOS Glacier (VCNG1) Trek 16-cleat overshoes and the Ergodyne N-Ferno 6980 hand warmer muff (VNF6980). The moulded-in hasp takes a padlock, sold separately. To complete entrance maintenance, add the Garant scratch-free snow brush (EAG36SBMSV), the Garant steel-blade serrated snow shovel (EAGPSS117DS), the Garant Pro snow pusher (EAGIPP21KD), the French-language “Attention surface glissante” sign (ECM303) and the 10 ft aluminum expandable safety barrier (EPT999).
