Highly specialized solution for improving air quality in environments with high concentrations of contaminants. Thanks to its Vapor-Lock® technology, it efficiently captures low-concentration organic vapors as well as particles between 3 and 10 microns such as spores, hairspray, dusting products, and concrete dust. This disposable filter extends the lifespan of the HEPA filter while ensuring high-performance intermediate filtration.
No returnable if used. For more information about our return policy, please refer to the Orders and Returns.
Second stage optional filter for organic vapors for the PREDATOR® 750 portable air scrubber (SAH1) or any other model of air scrubber, which requires a 16 in X 16 in X 2 in filters. Sold individually.
This filter forms the second stage in the air purifier’s filtration system. It retains medium-sized particles while allowing finer ones to pass through to the HEPA filter. Its Vapor-Lock® technology is based on a surface phenomenon where organic vapor molecules adhere to the surface of the activated carbon filter through adsorption. This process ensures targeted purification in industrial environments, decontamination sites, or areas exposed to chemical aerosols.
Targeted purification and enhanced safety for contaminated air.
Made from cotton and polyester fibers, this disposable filter is UL900 Class 2 certified for low smoke emission and flammability resistance. It holds a MERV 6 rating according to ASHRAE standards, ensuring 90% efficiency in capturing particles between 3 and 10 microns. This filter is compatible with Predator 750 air purifiers, CAP1200, CAP1200-UVP from Abatement Technologies, and any other models using 16 X 16 X 2-inch filters. This product is available by special order and cannot be returned or exchanged once the packaging has been opened.
In operating installations, the machine is left running during the replacement of the primary and secondary filters. Installation of the filter is quick and easy. Simply remove the used filter and insert the new one into the designated space in the air purifier, following the airflow direction. Proper installation ensures optimal filtration performance and better protection of the HEPA filter.
This disposable filter requires no special maintenance. It should be replaced regularly, every 72 hours to 3 months, depending on the contaminant concentration. Unlike HEPA filters, no signal is emitted when the activated carbon filter is saturated. Therefore, it’s recommended to rely on ambient odor to detect saturation and ensure continuous purification.
Use this filter in environments where organic vapors and medium-sized particles are present. Ensure your air purifier is properly maintained and replace the filter as recommended. Never reuse a used or damaged filter. This filter is especially suitable for decontamination work, renovations, and industrial areas requiring targeted filtration.
Yes, with Vapor-Lock® technology, low-concentration organic vapors adhere to the activated carbon surface through adsorption.
The air purifier does not emit a signal. You’ll need to rely on ambient odor to detect saturation of the filter.
No, this product is available by special order and cannot be returned or exchanged if the packaging has been opened.
