Peculiarities of:
Designed to provide reliable fixation and hold compresses in place, ensuring continuous wound protection.
Application:
To apply non-sterile gauze bandage rolls, follow these simple steps:
1.Prepare the wound area:
o Clean the wound with soap and water or an antiseptic solution.
o Gently dry the area with a sterile compress.
2. Apply a compress:
o Place a sterile compress directly on the wound to absorb blood and protect against infection.
3. Secure compress with bandage:
o Unroll the gauze bandage and start wrapping it around the injured area, starting just below the wound.
o Wrap the bandage firmly but loosely, to avoid cutting off blood circulation.
o Continue wrapping the bandage, overlapping each layer slightly to ensure complete coverage.
4. Secure the bandage:
o Once the wound is well covered, secure the bandage in place with medical tape or by knotting the ends of the bandage.
5. Check circulation:
o Make sure the bandage is not too tight by checking the color and temperature of the s kin beyond the bandage. If the skin becomes cold, pale or blue, loosen the bandage.
6. Monitor the wound:
o Change the bandage regularly to keep the wound clean and watch for signs of infection, such as redness, swelling or pus.
These steps should help you apply non-sterile gauze bandage rolls correctly.
Maintenance and service life:
Be sure to keep them in a dry place to avoid any moisture that could compromise their integrity.
