This 2-ply blanket has a water-resistant yellow polyester shell and a soft absorbent tissue lining. The blanket is very thin: only 0.15 mm (5.9 mil).

This blanket is primarily designed for first aid. It can be used as a clean surface for on-site care by first responders or paramedics. It can also be used for body warmth, and to absorb blood and other fluids. This emergency blanket is a great addition to TRAUMA and TRAUMAV first aid kits.

On the other hand, this blanket is just as useful as a disposable drop cloth if you enjoy tinkering with oily or greasy mechanical parts or with paint. The blanket provides a safe surface to place these parts without causing a mess. Any liquids will remain on the blanket, so clean-up is a breeze.
