Designed to combine rigorous fall safety and daily well-being, this 3M Protecta P200 model perfectly adapts to the needs of industry professionals. This 3M Protecta P200 harness is specifically developed to meet the requirements of the most rigorous industrial environments. Its high-quality construction is based on straps made of Kevlar® and polyester with a protective modacrylic coating, as well as comfort padding that makes the assembly particularly lightweight for extended wear without excessive fatigue. By choosing this model, you opt for optimal support that facilitates mobility while ensuring effective restraint in the event of an accidental fall.
Make no compromise between your thermal comfort and your safety during your hot work thanks to a robust and reliable technical design.
Our harnesses meet the needs of workers, whether they require a lightweight or more advanced model.
One of the major features of this equipment specifically designed for welding is its construction in Kevlar® and polyester with a modacrylic coating, offering exceptional resistance to heat and flames. Additionally, its fixed D-ring minimizes the need for constant readjustments during your workday, while its leg connections equipped with easy-to-don tongue buckles and interlocking buckles at the chest ensure practical and secure adjustment.
To guarantee maximum protection, start by grasping the harness by the D-ring located on the back and shake it to let the straps fall into place. Slip the shoulder straps over your shoulders like a vest, then buckle the chest strap at a comfortable height. Next, pass the leg straps between your legs and fasten them in a snug manner but without excessive compression. Finally, verify that the dorsal ring is well positioned between your shoulder blades for an ideal distribution of forces in the event of an impact.
The durability of your webbing depends on regular and meticulous maintenance. Clean the straps using a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding any corrosive chemical product that could alter the synthetic fibers. Let the equipment air dry, away from any source of direct heat or prolonged sunlight. Storage in a dry and clean place will prevent premature wear of metallic components and textiles.
Before each use, perform a complete visual inspection to detect any trace of cuts, fraying, or thermal damage on the straps. Ensure that the buckles and attachment points function perfectly without jamming. It is strongly recommended to use this harness with compatible lanyards and to always validate your anchor point before beginning your work. Adequate training in wearing a safety harness is indispensable to master rescue and recovery procedures.
The 3M Protecta P200 safety harness in size medium/large is designed to adapt to the morphology of the majority of industrial workers thanks to its multiple adjustment points on the shoulder and leg straps.
