Technical description : features and components
This ExoFit X200 safety harness features a dorsal D-ring and shoulder D-rings with automatic vertical positioning (stand-up) and anti-slip plate. The patented 3M Quick Connect double-locking buckles keep the adjustment secure throughout the shift, eliminating frequent readjustments. The torso buckle is swivel and lockable. The sub-pelvic strap prevents orthostatic suspension syndrome in the event of a fall.
The 6,000 lb polyester webbing offers superior UV and chemical resistance. Zinc-plated alloy steel hardware is unpainted for easy visual inspection. Color-coded webbing simplifies donning. Available in: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large.

Maximum load: 310 lb / 140.6 kg including clothing, tools and equipment. Compliant with CSA Z259.10-18 for the Canadian market. Made to order by 3M. Allow approximately 1 month lead time.

6,000 lb (27 kN) polyester webbing: superior resistance to acids and UV. Unpainted light aluminum-alloy D-rings and slides, and quick-connect leg buckles of hybrid aluminum-alloy and zinc-plated-steel construction (light weight and strength): facilitates visual inspection with advanced material engineering specific to 3M DBI-SALA harnesses. Multi-color webbing: quick identification of anchor points and adjustments. Plastic tips on webbing ends: prevent fraying over time.

Suitable for: confined space entry, industrial rescue, tanks and silos. Meets the requirements of Canadian Labour Code and CNESST (Quebec) regulations for work at height. Sizes available: Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large.
Inspection and service life : verification guide
Inspect before each use: check for cuts, fraying, broken stitching and deformed hardware. Inspection by a qualified person is required at least annually. Recommended service life: 5 years with regular use. Any harness subjected to a fall must be removed from service and destroyed immediately. Sylprotec offers annual inspection by a qualified technician.
Care and cleaning to extend service life
Clean with mild soap and lukewarm water (max 37 C / 98.6 F). Never use bleach, solvents or abrasive products. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Store hanging in a clean, dry location away from chemicals and heat sources.

What does Class AE mean and what are the shoulder D-rings for?
Class AE combines two functions: fall Arrest (dorsal D-ring) and confined space Entry / retrieval (shoulder D-rings). The shoulder D-rings connect to a retrieval device to raise or lower the worker in a vertical position during confined space entry or rescue. They are never used for fall arrest.
Is this harness suitable for rescue and tank work?
Yes, that is its purpose. This model is designed for confined space entry, industrial rescue and work in tanks and vessels, where fast vertical retrieval may be required. Use the shoulder D-rings only with a compliant winch or retrieval device and a rescue plan that meets applicable regulations.
Why is there about a 1 month lead time for this harness?
This model is made to order by 3M and is not kept in regular stock. Allow approximately 1 month from the order date. For an urgent need, contact Sylprotec: we can check availability and suggest an equivalent in-stock harness when possible.
