The ExoFit X200 Class AP (fall arrest and positioning) harness by 3M DBI-SALA is designed for construction professionals demanding reliability, comfort and safety during work at height. Ideal for: work positioning, structural steel, tower and pylon work. Made in the USA, compliant with CSA Z259.10-18. This harness is vest style, with vertical shoulder straps for easy donning and optimal comfort. Technical description : features and components
This ExoFit X200 safety harness features a dorsal D-ring and hip D-rings with automatic vertical positioning (stand-up) and anti-slip plate. The patented 3M double-locking quick-connect buckles keep the adjustment secure throughout the shift, eliminating frequent readjustments. The torso buckle is swivel and lockable. The sub-pelvic strap prevents orthostatic suspension syndrome in the event of a fall.
The 6,000 lb polyester webbing offers superior UV and chemical resistance. Zinc-plated alloy steel hardware is unpainted for easy visual inspection. Color-coded webbing simplifies donning. Available in: XS, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large.

6,000 lb (27 kN) polyester webbing: superior resistance to acids and UV. Unpainted hardware: facilitates visual defect inspection. The quick-connect leg buckles use a hybrid aluminum-alloy and zinc-plated-steel construction, combining light weight and strength at the highest-stress points; this advanced material engineering, specific to 3M DBI-SALA harnesses, outperforms entry-level harnesses by reducing fatigue without sacrificing durability. Multi-color webbing: quick identification of anchor points and adjustments. Plastic tips on webbing ends: prevent fraying over time.

Inspection and service life : verification guide
Inspect before each use: check for cuts, fraying, broken stitching and deformed hardware. Inspection by a qualified person is required at least annually. Recommended service life: 5 years with regular use. Any harness subjected to a fall must be removed from service and destroyed immediately. Sylprotec offers annual inspection by a qualified technician.
Care and cleaning to extend service life
Clean with mild soap and lukewarm water (max 37 C / 98.6 F). Never use bleach, solvents or abrasive products. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Store hanging in a clean, dry location away from chemicals and heat sources.

What is the difference between Class AP and Class APL?
Class AP combines two functions: fall Arrest (dorsal D-ring) and work Positioning (hip D-rings with belt). Class APL adds a third function, Ladder climbing (sternal D-ring). This X200 Class AP harness is designed for workers who need to stay positioned hands-free, without a guided vertical climbing requirement.
What is the tongue-buckle positioning belt for?
The padded work belt at the waist, with its tongue buckle, lets you connect a positioning lanyard to the hip D-rings to hold the worker in place, hands-free. It also provides lumbar support during extended work at height. Important: the hip D-rings are for positioning only, never for fall arrest.
Why is there about a 1 month lead time for this harness?
This model is made to order by 3M and is not kept in regular stock. Allow approximately 1 month from the order date. For an urgent need, contact Sylprotec: we can check availability and suggest an equivalent in-stock harness when possible.
