The DBI-SALA 3M twin-leg Y shock absorbing lanyard, available in 4 ft (1.2 m) or 6 ft (1.8 m), is built for workers who must move from one anchor point to another while staying tied off at all times. Its yellow polyester web houses an energy absorber inside a black pack that deploys progressively during a fall to reduce the arresting forces transmitted to the worker.
This twin-arm configuration provides a 100% continuous connection, since the second arm is attached before the first is released. It connects by means of a zinc-plated snap hook at the harness attachment point and two zinc-plated large rebar hooks at the ends of the arms, ideal for tying off to large structures or rebar. The 3M IRF identification system makes equipment tracking and inspection easier throughout its service life.
Total worker weight capacity, including clothing, tools and equipment, is 132 to 310 lb (59.9 to 140.6 kg). This product is certified to CSA Z259.11.
