This 8-strand red polypropylene rope, measuring 9 MM (3/8") in diameter and 152.4 M (500′) in length, is braided hollow (empty) in the centre. It is packed with a plastic reel.

Polypropylene rope is one of the most common, since it’s an inexpensive option that’s very versatile and therefore suitable for a wide range of functions. Made from a synthetic fibre, its strength is rated at 907.18 kg (2000 lb). Its most special feature is its ability to float on water.

It has great knot retention. It is durable and easy to use, especially for knots and splices. It is resistant to mildew, moisture, acid, gasoline, oil and chemicals.
