This 8-strand red polypropylene rope, measuring 9MM (3/8") in diameter and 152.4 M (500′) in length, is braided hollow (empty) in the center. It is packed on a plastic reel.

Polypropylene rope is one of the most common, since it’s an inexpensive option that’s very versatile and therefore suitable for a wide range of functions. Made from a synthetic fiber, its strength is rated at 907.18 kg (2000 lb). Its most special feature is its ability to float on water.

It has great knot retention. It is durable and easy to use, especially for knots and splices. It is resistant to mildew, moisture, acid, gasoline, oil and chemicals.

This rope is resistant to chemicals and abrasion, and can even float.

Application:
Commonly used on golf courses, construction sites and swimming areas. It can also be used as a sled harness and water ski cable.
