These hazard labels identify packages of class 6.1 toxic substances: they are applied at the shipping station to boxes, jerricans and drums. Each 4 X 4 in (100 X 100 mm) label shows the skull and crossbones on a white background and the class number 6. The roll of 500 keeps up with a dock that often ships this type of goods. Made in Canada, they are sold by the roll, in paper or vinyl.

| Paper | ERCLASSE6-PAP | Cardboard boxes shipped indoors |
| Self-adhesive vinyl | ERCLASSE6-VY | Curved surfaces, jerricans, drums, moisture |
These labels are intended for shippers of pesticides, toxic chemicals and laboratory reagents, and for warehouses preparing class 6.1 packages. Paper suits cardboard boxes shipped indoors; vinyl holds better on jerricans, drums and packages exposed to moisture.
Complete your display with the class 6.1 toxic substances placard (ECLA6.1) for the vehicle, and the aluminum flip chart placard with fourteen (ECLAP14) legends, including class 6, for trucks whose cargo changes.

Paper for cardboard boxes shipped indoors; vinyl for curved surfaces, jerricans, drums and packages exposed to moisture.
The vinyl version sticks to smooth, curved and irregular surfaces.
Depending on the quantity carried, the TDG Regulations may require a class 6.1 placard on the vehicle. Check the requirements that apply to your shipment.
For the shipping clerk who handles toxic substance packages, plan for Centurion splash goggles (YG454), a hooded Tychem 2000 disposable coverall (VQC127SYL), 18 in nitrile gloves (GL37185), waterproof PVC steel toe boots (VC18821C) and a fluorescent orange traffic vest (VV53) to stay visible at the dock.
To respond to a damaged package, keep pads (ABCT100) and socks (ABCB30) for corrosive or hazardous chemicals at the dock, a large 55 US gallon spill kit (ABCE55), Magic Monkey mineral absorbent (ABGMM225) and a 3 mil polyethylene sheet (SACCT2) to isolate the package.
