End-of-line item. Available only in small (S), large (L) and extra-large (XL) sizes.
These cost-effective waterproof and windproof orange high-visibility pants, fitted with silver retroreflective stripes, provide affordable protection for workers exposed to rain and traffic. Made of 300-denier polyester oxford coated with polyurethane, they comply with the CSA Z96-15 class 2 level 2 standard when worn alone, and reach class 3 when worn with the matching high-visibility jacket. Lightweight and breathable, they are ideal for occasional use. Available (subject to remaining stock) in small (S), large (L) and extra-large (XL) sizes via the drop-down menu above.
These polyester oxford pants are made with 300-denier yarns, the inside laminated with polyurethane for waterproofing. All seams are taped and heat-sealed. The manufacturer does not disclose the exact hydrostatic resistance; compared with similar products, it is estimated at around 5000 mm, i.e. resistance to a 5 m water column.
These waterproof pants feature two 50 mm (2 in) wide silver retroreflective stripes located horizontally at ankle height.
Fluorescent orange is highly visible in daylight and under strong artificial lighting, offering high contrast against the background. It is less visible at night and in low light, such as at dawn or dusk. The silver retroreflective stripes return light toward its source (flashlight, vehicle headlights, etc.) and provide maximum safety at dawn, dusk and at night, without increasing visibility in full daylight.
These polyester pants offer some abrasion protection and are easily worn over warm clothing thanks to their loose fit. They feature a waist drawstring for quick adjustment and a zippered fly. Their two zippered side pockets, protected by flaps, give access to the garment worn underneath (the manufacturer recommends leaving them open to better dissipate heat). Ventilation openings adjustable via zipper, hook-and-loop (Velcro®) and snaps are located on the sides, near the ankles, for fitting over work or winter boots. These pants are not flame-resistant.
The polyurethane-laminated polyester oxford pants are made with 300-denier yarns, giving them a medium weight: light enough for comfort, sturdy enough for adequate protection. Oxford is a weave widely used in industry, obtained by crossing a weft yarn and a warp yarn to create its characteristic grid. Polyurethane is lightweight and breathable, but during torrential rain with strong winds it becomes saturated and loses its waterproofing: once soaked, it lets water in under the slightest pressure.
These pants are recommended for workers operating around moving vehicles: school crossing guards, drivers, transport employees, etc. They also suit workers exposed to low risks of chemical splashes.
Machine wash these pants on a delicate cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air-dry away from sunlight. Never tumble dry, iron or dry-clean.
The manufacturer does not officially disclose it; compared with similar products, it is estimated at around 5000 mm (5 m water column).
