The Smart Lock system uses a motion-sensing mechanism to distinguish normal work movements from an actual fall, reducing nuisance lock-ups while ensuring immediate arrest. The galvanized cable withstands unprotected sharp edges, unlike textile webbing which can be severed during a fall.

Speed-sensing locking arrests a fall within inches. Housing: glass-filled nylon, robust and lightweight. Integrates IRF (RFID) technology.

The cable of this self-retracting lifeline is made of galvanized steel, a zinc-treated metal material designed to resist corrosion. Unlike textile webbing, a steel cable offers superior resistance to friction, sharp edges, and sparks. Galvanization ensures extended longevity in industrial environments exposed to moisture.

About the anchor point and fall clearance distance

The anchor point must always be above the dorsal D-ring of the harness and positioned vertically relative to the user. The worker should remain below the anchor within a 30-degree angle. Consult the manufacturer's manual for specific stopping distances.

Perform a routine inspection before each use. Look for deterioration, wear, or damage. A qualified person must inspect periodically (every 90 or 180 days). Recommended service life: 5 years. Visit the Service tab for inspection services.
