3M TR-600 Versaflo is a new generation powered air purifying respirator which offers a perfect balance between protection and comfort. It combines components which protect not only one’s respiratory tract but also one’s eyes and face. The kit includes among others, a standard nominal capacity battery which provides 7 to 12.5 hours of run time and many accessories.

3M RVTR602N Versaflo powered air purifying respirator unit features:

PAPRs, powered air purifying respirator are systems made to blow filtered air into the respiratory equipment, which provides air automatically rather than mechanically such as regular respirators. 3M RVTR602N motor/blower facepiece differs from other PAPRs by its lightness, its ergonomic and its versatility which allows everyone, even bearded men to be protected when well installed. This equipment offers many different type of protection accordingly to the choice of facepiece. PAPRs minimize the effort put into breathing and can reduce build up heat inside the facepiece. It features a smart engine which adapts accordingly to the filters in use. It is also equipped with an alarm system - one audible, one LED and one vibrating – which alert the user to either a low battery or low airflow. The powered unit has three airflow settings: standard, medium and high flow. The engine starts automatically at the standard flow and the user can change the settings afterwards accordingly to his needs. This powered unit allows one to use combined cartridges, which means it’s more powerful than previous equipment. Please note that this equipment is not intrinsically safe. This PAPR contains no natural rubber latex.

RVTR626 high durability belt features:

The high durability belt designed for industrial work is made of leather strap bound to vinyl acetate foam covered with neoprene back support. The back support is design to attach the PAPR unit by four distinctive points to ensure the machine is being maintain to the right place at all times.

RBT30 breathing tube features:

The S-series length adjusting breathing tube is made of polyurethane and is equipped with flexible helix that adjusts to the appropriate length for the individual wearer. This breathing tube features a quick release swivel and an anti-tangle clasp which prevents any twisting of the tube. Moreover, this patented 3M tube is a one-size-fits-all because it is extendable from a minimal length of 525 mm to a maximum length of 850 mm. Do not use for:

It can neither ensure the user intrinsic safety in an environment representing an explosion risk. It is strongly discouraged to wear any kind of respirator for application with sandblasting. It is also highly advised to stay away from environment that exceed the limits of your equipment with respect to the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST or any other government regulation applicable. One should never use a respirator in an oxygen deprived environment (an atmosphere with less than 19,5 % oxygen).

Maintenance and service life:

For a safer performance, manufacturer’s recommendation must be followed. 3M recommends an inspection of the respiratory equipment before each use; to wash the respirator after each use; and to store the respirator back to its packaging.

One should never wash its respirator with any type of solvents since they can weaken some components which can affect the efficiency of the equipment. Filtering elements must never be immersed in water. The motor/blower and the battery can now be immersed if equipped with the RVTR653 cleaning and storage kit.
