This type of cover has been design to cover one’s head, neck and shoulders, making it ideal for workers in need of respiratory protection while performing dusty or dirty tasks. This type of equipment does not provide additional respiratory protection. The protection factor of your equipment depend on the facepiece chosen, i.e. the RM105 facepiece provides a protection up to 25 the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST while the RM307 facepiece provides a protection up to 1000 times the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST or any other government regulation applicable. This head cover has hence been designed to protect for limited time TR-300 Versaflo™ headgear equipment from greasy, dusty and oily soiling substances.
The cover consists of a woven and non-woven polypropylene layered membrane covering the top and back of the head, the neck and shoulders, but not the face. Since the facepiece is already equipped whit a polycarbonate faceshield, a second layer of protection is not required. This headcover leaves the face uncovered while providing a tight fit without obstructing vision or hampering respiration.
Maintenance:
This polypropylene headcover has been designed for single use only hence it is not recommended to try to clean it, but to properly dispose of it after use.
