Offered in 5 sizes, from medium (M) to 3X-large (3XL); choose yours in the size table below. This parka follows the worker through the whole winter, near vehicles and equipment. It brings together two pieces that are worn together or separately: a 100% waterproof and windproof outer jacket in 300-denier PU-coated oxford polyester, and a quilted inner jacket with detachable sleeves, reversible to black. Fluorescent orange and double-stitched StarTech® retroreflective tape keep the wearer clearly visible in daylight and in headlights.

The outer jacket protects against rain, wet snow and wind: its coated fabric and taped, heat-sealed seams keep water out, and its quilted lining adds a first layer of warmth. The storm cuffs and the full-length front zipper, protected by a snap storm placket, block drafts, while the 7 in side zippers allow free movement. The quilted inner jacket, with a comfort collar and a drawstring waist with toggles, is worn underneath in extreme cold. Its sleeves come off to turn it into a vest, and it reverses to black to be worn on its own.
In cool weather, the inner jacket is enough; in the rain, the outer jacket is worn alone; when the cold sets in, both pieces are worn together.
The outer jacket and the inner jacket each have two large front cargo pockets and two inside pockets. The parka also has a phone pocket on the left chest and one inside pocket on each side of the chest, to keep personal items dry. Two mic tabs keep the radio microphone within reach, and an access zipper is provided for embroidering the company logo. The concealed snap hood comes off when not needed.
The parka complies with CSA Z96 class 2 level 2 and ANSI/ISEA 107 class 3. Its 5 cm (1.97 in) silver and yellow StarTech® retroreflective tape is double-stitched on a 10 cm (3.94 in) contrasting trim and forms an X on the back.
Fluorescent orange is highly visible in daylight and under strong artificial light. In most situations, it also offers high contrast with the background. However, it is less visible at night and in low light, for example at dawn or dusk.
Silver retroreflective stripes are highly visible in low natural or artificial light, because they return light toward its source (flashlight, car headlights, etc.). They therefore offer maximum safety at dawn, at dusk and at night, but do not increase visibility in broad daylight.
This parka suits road maintenance and snow removal crews, construction workers, yard, dock and parking lot staff, and utility crews who work outdoors near vehicles in winter. When combining this parka with the Pioneer orange and black winter overalls (V50402C), verify the compliance of the complete ensemble. Select the visibility class according to the hazards and the requirements applicable to the workplace.
This parka is not flame-resistant and does not protect against arc flash: choose a garment certified for these hazards. To keep its compliance, wear it closed and do not cover the retroreflective tape.
Before washing, empty the pockets and close the zippers, snaps and hook-and-loop fasteners. Machine wash the parka with a mild soap, without chlorine bleach or fabric softener, then shake it out and hang it to dry away from sunlight; do not put it in the dryer. Replace it when the orange has faded, the retroreflective tape is worn, peeling or permanently soiled, or the seams let water through.
Five sizes, from medium (M) to 3X-large (3XL), all in high-visibility orange. The size table gives the code for each size.
