Antistatic and explosion-proof flexible duct with a 12" diameter and a conductive link. Available in 2 lengths, 15' / 4.57 m or 25' / 7.62 m. Use in combination with a 12" diameter explosion proof fan. Operates in both directions, providing maximum flow with minimum friction. Provides maximum safety by dissipating static electricity charges.
Allegro Industries manufacturer's code: 9550-15EX for the 15' and 9550-25EX for the 25'.
This model of connector is available in different lengths of conduit. Please select your size from the menu above.

Grounding Tips:
After reviewing the instruction manual, we need to add more information to clarify grounding concepts. When equipment is used in explosive environments, it is important to ensure that it is properly grounded. The slightest spark and it's a disaster.
First of all, it should be added that the photo of the explosion-proof ventilation duct the manufacturer failed to show that there is 1 ground wire at each end. There is one that can be used to connect another conduit of the same type to increase the length of the conduit. To do this. You will need to use the conduit connector (RACONN-12) and connect each ducts ground wire to the end of the nearest connector, so that the conduit connector is inserted into the grounded components.
Also, the product picture does not match what is indicated in the instruction manual on page 7. On this page, it is difficult to understand that the grounding wire of the conduit must be connected to a bolt located on the side of the chassis, a few centimeters away from the grill. By connecting in this way, continuity is obtained between the duct(s) and the fan.
To achieve grounding, all equipment connected together must have electrical continuity that ultimately leads to ground. This requires zero or very low ohmic resistance, if it is a very long distance. Therefore, make sure that a competent electrician has verified that all equipment connected to the blower from the end of the duct, the blower, the extension wires, the explosion-proof plug and finally the electrical panel, is properly grounded.
