ANSI compliance
Superior Glove publishes for this glove a level 4 puncture resistance on the ANSI scale. The documentation consulted gives no cut level: it is a cold-protection glove, not a cut-resistant glove.
Insulation and waterproof inserts
The three layers of insulation trap warmth around the hand without making the glove bulky. The waterproof, breathable Porelle Ski-Dri2™ inserts block water and wind while letting moisture out: hands stay dry when handling snow, ice or frosted products.
Palm, grip and knuckle protection
The Clarino® synthetic leather palm increases glove lifespan and flexibility. The anti-slip PVC patches, on the palm and fingertips, provide excellent grip in wet and wintry conditions. A foam-padded strap, covered with Kevlar® and stainless steel, protects the knuckles against knocks. The gauntlet cuff, with its Velcro® tab and elastic wrist, closes the glove snugly over the coat sleeve.
Applications of extreme cold gloves
Superior Glove recommends these gloves for cold storage, general purpose and outdoor winter work. In the freezer, wear them with the Pioneer 5015 quilted freezer jacket (VV5015).
Glove use restrictions
These gloves protect against cold, water and knocks to the knuckles. For a cut or chemical hazard, choose a glove certified for that hazard.
