The “danger radioactive materials” sign is designed to clearly warn workers of the presence of radioactive substances. It uses standardized pictograms, including the iconic yellow triangle, to signal a potential risk of serious injury. This type of signage is strongly recommended in areas where radioactive materials are handled, stored or transported, even if its display is not always mandatory.
Please contact customer service for signs in formats other than those offered in the boxes above, as well as for English or bilingual signs. Please allow four (4) weeks for delivery of special orders. If you cannot find the sign you need, contact our customer service to obtain custom signage.
This danger sign is available in standard formats such as 6x9 inches and 8x12 inches, with special orders possible for other dimensions. Three materials are available: adhesive vinyl, rigid plastic and aluminum. For increased durability, you can add UV-resistant lamination, retroreflective or photoluminescent finishes. L-shaped (perpendicular to the wall) or V-shaped (double-sided) versions are also available for optimal visibility in corridors or intersections.
Installation depends on the selected material. Adhesive vinyl models apply directly to a clean, smooth surface. Plastic or aluminum signs can be mounted to the wall using screws, industrial adhesives or suitable supports. L-shaped or V-shaped formats allow for angled or protruding installation, ideal for passageways or open spaces.
To extend the lifespan of your sign, clean it regularly with a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner. UV-laminated models are more resistant to fading but should be protected from prolonged sun exposure. Aluminum signs are especially recommended for outdoor environments or areas subject to impact.
Use this CDN sign in areas where radioactive materials are present to inform and protect workers. It is essential in laboratories, hospitals, nuclear power plants, processing facilities or any industrial site handling isotopes. Combined with radiation protection training, this signage helps reduce exposure risks and strengthens compliance with health and safety standards.
Standard formats are 6x9 inches and 8x12 inches, with special orders possible for other dimensions.
Aluminum is ideal for outdoor environments due to its resistance to weather and impact.
Yes, bilingual or English versions are available upon request, depending on applicable regulations.
