One 1-1/2" diameter female swivel inlet with NPSH thread and two 1-1/2" diameters male outlets with NPSH thread.

Features a cast aluminum brass body with a female swivel with toggle lug and male outlets in anodized aluminum. This item is unpainted.

Dimensions as follows:

Female size: 1-1/2 inches (1.5 inches).
Male size: Two 1-1/2" outlets each.

NPSH thread: NPSH thread is a type of thread used in fire lines in Canada, particularly for 1-1/2" lines.

Application:
Plumbing, particularly in pumping systems, firefighting applications and other areas where a fast, reliable connection is required.

In short, the gate-wye with NPSH threads is a plumbing essential, offering versatile connection options in a variety of situations.

Restriction:
You'll find NPSH threading in Canada when it comes to 1-1/2" diameter pipes, but you can also CrossFit pieces of equipment with other thread types. The one we occasionally come across is NH American thread.

Maintenance and service life:

1.Materials:

  • The body of the gate-wye is made of brass-cast aluminum, providing good corrosion resistance and durability.
  • Male outlets are made of hard-anodized aluminum, protecting them from wear and damage.

2.Maintenance:

  • To prolong the life of the gate-way, it is essential to keep it clean and free from mineral deposits. Clean regularly with a soft cloth and soapy water.
  • Periodically check the condition of the seals and replace them if necessary.
  • Avoid overtightening fittings to prevent thread damage.

3.Service life:

  • The service life of a gate-wye depends on a number of factors, including material quality, operating conditions and maintenance.
  • In general, a brass-cast aluminum gate-wye with hard anodized aluminum outlets should last for many years if properly maintained.

4.Proper use:

  • Be sure to comply with the manufacturer's specifications regarding maximum pressure and operating temperature.

In short, with proper maintenance, this Y-connector should offer satisfactory service life in a variety of applications.
