Polyflex fire hose 1.5 in x 50 ft with brass coupling

Fire hose with a 1 ½ inch (38 mm) diameter, 50 feet (15.2 m) long, pre-folded on 15 pins. NPSH/IPT-threaded brass coupling. Designed for building fire protection, this hose must be stored in a fire cabinet or on a hose reel.

Standards and pressure of the Polyflex fire hose

Compliant with the NFPA 1961 standard. FM and UL approved. Designed for a service pressure of 250 PSI (1725 kPa) and tested at a proof pressure of 500 PSI (3450 kPa).

Resistant Polyflex material of the fire hose

This compact and lightweight hose is made of Polyflex, a polyester-based synthetic fiber bonded with polyurethane, with a woven jacket. It is resistant to mold, most chemicals, petroleum-based products, UV exposure and ozone.

Calculating the required hose length

To calculate the required length, measure the size of the building and subtract 25 ft. This 50-ft hose covers a 75-ft radius.

Precautions for the single-jacket fire hose

This fire hose is designed for occasional emergency use only.
The thin single jacket snags and punctures easily on rough surfaces such as pavement, concrete, gravel, etc. Do not use this hose outdoors or for general building maintenance. Not suitable for heavy-duty uses such as washing garages, vehicles, driveways, etc. We also offer heavy-duty double jacket hoses for all your fire safety and building maintenance needs.
