The Master Lock 1483BP1106FRC lockout station brings together in one place the equipment needed to isolate machinery. It includes 10 American Lock aluminum padlocks and 2 hasps, stored in a polycarbonate station. Its lockable translucent cover keeps the contents visible while protecting them from being borrowed. The station measures 22 X 15.5 X 1.75 in. Placed near the equipment to be locked out, it keeps the material within workers' reach. It is sold individually.
In a plant electrical room, near a packaging line in a food plant, at the entrance of a sawmill maintenance shop or in a building mechanical room. The station centralizes a crew's lockout equipment and shows at a glance what is in use. Assign padlocks according to the facility's lockout program.
Take inventory after each job: every padlock and hasp must return to its place. Clean the polycarbonate with a soft, damp cloth. Check that the cover locks properly. Remove any damaged padlock or hasp from the station and replace it before the next job.

Yes. The translucent cover is lockable and keeps the contents visible.
The station is made of polycarbonate, and the included padlocks are aluminum.
The station is designed for 10 padlocks, the same number as the padlocks included.
For a maintenance supervisor installing this station near the electrical room, plan for a Delta Plus Americana Peak T2 climbing helmet (TA222) and 3M Virtua Max bifocal glasses (YA11515) for reading tags up close. Dexterity cut-resistant gloves (GSSXPU3OF) with 3 open fingers and polyurethane coating, the blue Pioneer surveyor vest (V6692B) with 16 pockets and Classic 312-1201 earplugs (OA101) complete the crew's equipment.
For an additional padlock, see the red aluminum keyed-different American Lock padlock (CA1A-R) and the Master Lock Zenex (CA1Z) dielectric padlock. The yellow lockout hasp (CA3) adds lockout points, and the French-language do-not-start lockout DANGER (CAET8) tag warns against starting the equipment. The single circuit breaker lockout (CAC1) and the valve handle (CAV7) lockout device complete the isolation equipment.
