About the anchorage point and its installation

This anchor installs in the opening of a door or window frame: adjust it to the opening width, then lock it firmly. Caution: it must be installed at the bottom of the door or window opening. As with any fall protection anchorage point, assess the fall distance, the free clearance below the worker, the rescue measures and the anchor strength (5000 lb). No tool is required for fastening.

Removable anchor inspection

The worker is responsible for a routine inspection before each use: look for any sign of degradation, wear, malfunction or breakage. Replace the removable anchor at the first sign of failure. This anchor should also be inspected periodically by a qualified person other than the user; the more demanding the conditions, the more frequent the inspection. Any equipment subjected to a fall or impact must be removed from service. Sylprotec offers a fall protection equipment inspection service; see the Services tab.
