The Peakworks removable concrete anchorage connector (model FPA12010) is a temporary anchorage point designed for fall protection on dry, cured concrete (minimum 3000 psi). It installs into a ¾ in hole and is removed at the end of the job, making it a convenient, quick anchor for fall protection systems in construction and industry. Peakworks manufacturer code: CP-12010-1. Sold individually.
It offers a strength of 5000 lb (22 kN) and quick installation without complex tools. Intended for a single person, its maximum capacity is 310 lb (141 kg), including the worker's tools and equipment. It complies with the CSA Z259.15-17, ANSI Z359.1-2007 standards and OSHA requirements.
Rugged and quick to install, this connector creates a reliable temporary anchorage point on concrete, without complex tooling, for occasional work at height.
The connector installs into a ¾ in hole drilled in dry, cured concrete with a minimum strength of 3000 psi, according to the manufacturer's instructions. As with any fall protection anchorage point, the location must be selected by a competent person: assess the fall distance, the free clearance below the worker, the rescue measures and the anchor strength (5000 lb). Remove the connector at the end of the job.
The worker is responsible for a routine inspection before each use: look for any sign of degradation, wear, corrosion, malfunction or breakage. Replace the connector at the first sign of failure. It should also be inspected periodically by a qualified person other than the worker. Any equipment subjected to a fall or impact must be removed from service. Sylprotec offers a fall protection equipment inspection service; see the Services tab.
