G730
Availability date:
Ladies winter glove cowhide palm, thinsulate TM insulation.Available in a large (9) one-size-fits-all. Sold in pairs.
G730 peculiarities:
This cryoprotective glove is quite something to wear out and offers an unparalleled protection against cold, cuts and other minor mechanical hazards. The palmar face and tips of the fingers as well as the joints are entirely covered with leather. The glove is completely lined with Thinsulate™ which doesn’t absorb perspiration thus ensuring dry and warm hands. Moreover, its Gunn cut feature, a design often used by workers from all walks of life since its almost seamless features with seams only at the top of the hand allows a better resistance to abrasion, wear and tear.
Cowgrain properties:
The grain, in this case, cowgrain, comes from the slitting of thicker hides in two sheets: the surface of the skin, the finest part known as ‘full grain’ is the real leather as opposed to the subsurface, known as split-leather. Cowgrain is mainly the most popular leather on the market since cowhide strikes a good balance of durability, dexterity, abrasion resistance, and comfort besides being quite cost-efficient.
Thinsulate™ properties:
Thinsulate™ is a unique material made of microfibers which insulates by trapping air molecules between the skin and the outside of the protective clothing. Indeed, the key to the right insulation is air pockets and the more air a material traps in a given space‚ the better it insulates you from the cold outside air. It’s quite easy: when the body sweats, water molecules in gaseous form and heat are liberated. That heat pushes by conduction the water molecules out of the Thinsulate™ lining, thus out of the protective gear. This is how Thinsulate™ is breathable, non-absorbent and easily washable. Thinsulate™ is considered to be the best insulating material with a 9/10 score. It is moreover the most compact insulation to this day which provides an excellent dexterity compared to other insulating materials. Thinsulate™ is the number 1 choice for workers in extreme and cold conditions.
Use for:
This glove are recommended for workers in refrigerated warehouses, on construction sites in winter conditions, for agriculture and ranching activities, to handle parts that may be cold, for general maintenance and for forklifting.
Do not use for:
Of course, this glove offers no sure protection against frostbites, cuts, wear, tear and puncture so mechanical risks should not be overlooked.
Maintenance and service life:
It is not recommended to wash this glove since water and soap tend to rob leather of its natural oils which makes it stiffen and become brittle. If the nature of your work requires that you wash them, we recommend that you dry clean them.
