"Strike First" portable fire extinguishers with carbon dioxide (CO2) cooling gas. 10 lbs. Class BC, ULC rating 10BC, with wall hook.
Recommended for fires of type B (flammable liquids and gas) and type C (electrical fires of live wires or other live materials).
Easy and safe to use, with illustrated instructions. Best option for electrical fires. Carbon dioxide will not damage your electronic equipment and the discharge hose and funnel are not electrically conductive.
Extinguishing agent: carbon dioxide (CO2). Steel body coated with weatherproof polyester enamel. Cylinder tested according to CTC regulations.
Discharges extinguishing agent at 8 ft (2.4 m) for 8 to 12 seconds.
Operates at temperatures between -40°C and +48.9°C.
Shipping package size: width 9 in x height 21 in x depth 9 in.
(width 22.9 cm x height 53.3 cm x depth 22.9 cm).
Shipping package weight: 27 lbs (12.3 kg).
For electrical fires, immediately cut off the electric power supply before extinguishing the fire. Not recommended for fires of type A (wood, paper, fabric) nor type D (metal fires).
If you have already purchased this extinguisher and need to replace its support hook, we suggest the CFL10 wall mounted hook.
