The DBI-SALA 3M 1246571C shock absorbing lanyard is a single-leg 4 ft (1.22 m) lanyard built for fall protection at height. Its yellow polyester web houses an energy absorber inside a black pack that deploys progressively during a fall to reduce the arresting forces transmitted to the worker.
It connects by means of one zinc-plated snap hook at the harness attachment point and one zinc-plated rebar hook at the anchorage end, ideal for tying off to large structures or rebar. The 3M IRF identification system makes equipment tracking and inspection easier throughout its service life.
