Protecta 3M manufacturer code: 7012817410, model 1342250C
This Protecta 3M 100% tie-off adjustable Y-lanyard keeps the worker connected at all times when moving from one anchor point to another, without ever being disconnected. Both legs are adjustable up to 6 ft (1.8 m) each, offering reach suited to the task. The webbing absorbs fall energy through an internal shock absorber that limits forces transmitted to the body. Three identical standard hooks equip the lanyard: one at the harness side and one at the end of each leg.
This Y-lanyard suits construction, steel structure assembly, and any job site requiring frequent movement between multiple anchor points without ever losing fall protection. Adjusting each leg allows the reach to be set to the working distance.
Abrasion-resistant polyester webbing. Built-in internal shock absorber limiting the arresting force transmitted to the worker. Three identical standard steel hooks with 3/4 in (19 mm) opening, double-action self-locking. Adjustable length up to 6 ft (1.8 m) on each leg. Capacity of 121 to 310 lb (54.9 to 140.6 kg), CSA Z259.11 compliant.
Any lanyard that has arrested a fall must be removed from service immediately. Inspect the webbing, stitching, and all three hooks before each use. Never connect both legs to the same anchor point at once unless the anchor allows it.
The Y configuration keeps the worker connected at all times when moving between two anchor points, without ever being disconnected.

No, any lanyard that has arrested a fall must be removed from service immediately, even without visible damage.
It is designed for workers weighing 121 to 310 lb (54.9 to 140.6 kg), including worn equipment.
The worker wearing this lanyard completes their equipment with cut-resistant gloves (GSTAFGFNT), a safety helmet (TA222) yellow and safety glasses (YA12262) for complete personal protection. Earplugs (O1100) protect hearing and a hi-vis shirt (VV45) completes protection in noisy environments.
For a functional fall protection system, this lanyard pairs with a first harness (FPH140202XCA), a second harness (FPH140204XCAP) for the crew, a permanent stainless steel anchor (FPA2104568), a shock-absorbing lanyard (FPL124657X) for a nearby position, and a retractable (FPLR3500253) lifeline for higher work positions. An extension (FPA1231117C) extends the reach of the anchor point. Also plan for a height rescue device Rollgliss R550 controlled descent (FPLR5503325, adapted rope length), and barricade the work zone with a tape DANGER barricade tape (ECT3YE7) and a cone traffic cone (EPTCONE28).
