Versaflo TR-800-IHK Industrial Hard Hat PAPR Assembly
The 3M Versaflo TR-800-IHK is a complete powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) assembly designed for demanding industrial environments and explosive atmospheres. The intrinsically safe TR-802N motor unit, UL-listed to UL 60079 (6th edition, 2013), meets requirements for Class I, II and III, Division 1 locations, groups C, D, E, F and G. NIOSH-approved, this assembly delivers superior protection against particles, organic vapors and acid gases through the included TR-6510N cartridge.

The kit includes the S-707 PAPR hood and the H-701SFR-UV safety helmet with Uvicator technology for UV exposure tracking. The TR-626 high durability belt provides comfortable extended wear, while the adjustable BT-30 breathing tube accommodates all body types. The TR-830N battery delivers 4 to 8 hours of runtime depending on operating conditions.
The TR-653 cleaning and storage kit, TR-6600 pre-filter, TR-971 airflow indicator and TR-681 carrying cover are all included. The S-960 adapter connects the safety helmet to the S-series hood. This modular TR-800 system allows individual component replacement to reduce long-term maintenance costs.

The TR-800-IHK features the intrinsically safe TR-802N motor, UL-listed to UL 60079, making it suitable for Class I/II/III, Division 1 explosive atmospheres. The TR-600-HIK is not intrinsically safe. The TR-800 also offers IP-54 protection in standard use and IP-67 with the TR-653 kit, compared to IP-54 only for the TR-600.
Is the TR-800-IHK suitable for ATEX zones?
Yes. The TR-802N motor is UL-listed for Class I, II and III, Division 1 locations, groups C, D, E, F and G, per UL 60079, 6th edition.
