Waterproof and lockable thanks to its hasp, it is made of rugged BPA-free polyethylene that resists UV rays. Its built-in forklift pockets let you move it without emptying it. The rest of the year, it serves as an outdoor storage box for tools, garden supplies or sporting goods.

Installing and caring for the bin

Place the bin on a level surface, near the entrance to be de-iced, without blocking the way. Fill it with salt, sand or ice melter, loose or bagged, without exceeding the 500 lb weight capacity. Keep the lid closed and lock the hasp with a padlock to keep out moisture and prevent unauthorized use. To move it when full, use a forklift and its built-in pockets. Rinse the inside in spring before using it as a storage box.
