This inner strap is a replacement part for the DBI-SALA(R) Cynch-Lok(TM) fall-limiting device used to climb wooden utility poles (electrical and telephone poles). It replaces the worn inner lanyard of a complete device, without having to repurchase the whole assembly.

This part fits the modular Cynch-Lok(TM) system, made up of interchangeable outer and inner components. The inner strap is woven blue nylon, strong and abrasion-resistant. It has a built-in wear indicator: as soon as the witness thread becomes visible, it is time to replace the component. It connects through a zinc-plated steel Saflok(TM) twist-lock carabiner. Manufactured by Capital Safety (DBI-SALA(R) brand).
The Cynch-Lok(TM) is a modular system made up of an outer strap and an inner lanyard, both offered separately as replacement parts. Like any fall-protection component, this inner strap must be inspected before each use: a visual inspection of the strap, carabiner and labels. Check that the wear indicator is not showing (visible witness thread). Replace the part immediately after any fall or if there is any doubt. Clean with water and mild soap, then air dry.
