This handy kit includes instruments required to measure and troubleshoot common electrical problems: a digital multimeter, an AC detector, and an outlet circuit tester for wall plugs (sockets). This kit is designed for use on household circuits and other low-voltage, low-amperage circuits. It is suitable for testing batteries and small tools or appliances, and for detecting faulty wiring causing electrical faults and short-circuits.

This kit is a great complement to the INSPECTKIT home inspection kit, which includes 5 instruments to measure temperature, humidity and distance. Together, these two kits have all the necessary instruments for home inspectors, new home buyers and homeowners.
