The green Running Man pictogram has been adopted by the National Building Code of Canada in 2010. The 2015 version, section 3.4.5.1 (2)(b)(c), requires conformity with ISO 3864-1 and ISO 7010. The green Running Man pictogram replaces traditional red EXIT signs.

Circuitry :
This sign requires a continuous 120 V or 347 V AC power supply.

This model includes an internal sealed Ni-Cad back-up battery. In case of power outage, the sign will remain lit for 90 minutes. The battery works at temperatures between 10°C and 35°C.

The sign consumes 4.1 W under 120 V and 3.6 W under 347 V.

The sign features a test button and an indicator light on the side.

Contents :
- One white thermoplastic sign frame with LED strip and back-up battery;
- One flush-mount back plate with spider knockouts;
- Two tapered faceplates;
- One centered pictogram;
- One pictogram with right arrow;
- One pictogram with left arrow;
- One universal canopy.

Configuration :
This sign may be single-faced for wall mounting, or double-faced for side mounting and ceiling mounting. The faceplates and pictograms snap in place and can be easily swapped.

Use the centered pictogram when the sign is mounted directly above the emergency exit or in a hallway that leads directly to the exit. Use the pictograms with arrows to indicate the direction of escape when the sign is mounted in a corner or at an intersection.
